Prices, shipping and returns
Art prices that are quoted on this site are the same as at my studio and include archival rag mat and ph neutral backing board. They do not include frame, glass or shipping. . If you are dissatisfied with the art for any reason, please contact me. If you wish to return the work (within 30 days of receipt), contact me, then return ship, insured. I will return your funds less shipping cost.
Add $40 for shipping a piece within the continental USA. I will ship your art upon receipt of cashier's check, money order or credit card order. Personal checks are fine, but I will wait until the funds clear. This make take a while. I will email you the tracking codes so that you may follow the progress of your package. It takes about a week for the package to reach the east coast by UPS ground from Boulder, Colorado.
Materials and permanence
I use the finest paints and paper available. All pigments are ASTM I or ASTM 2 rated and should show no signs of fading when in normal room light for a 100 years (probably much longer). My watercolor paper is always ph neutral and 100% rag content. The mats I use are also 100% rag and ph neutral. The backing board is archival ph neutral foam core.
One of my current paintings, properly framed and sealed under glass, will have a lifetime comparable to a varnished oil, painted with comparable paints on linen canvas.
